View source for Core:Classes

Each {{L|Category|Classes|class}} has a style and a behavior that it brings out in people. If you're being a {{L|Class|Thief|Thief|u=1}}, then you are probably not charging into battle, but being more sneaky. If you're playing a {{L|Class|Berserker|Berserker|u=1}}, you're probably going to rush into things and not ask too many questions. You can find descriptions of each class's personality on its respective page, and decide which of those traits might show up in your character. No two {{L|Class|Thief|thieves}} are exactly the same, after all!

Many {{L|Category|Classes|classes}} have a maximum "worn {{AV}}". This refers to the heaviest {{L|Category|Armor}} they can wear while still using their {{L|Category|Abilities}} and applies to the {{AV}} of {{L|Category|Equipment|equipment types}} themselves ''prior'' to factoring in the effects of any {{L|Category|Properties}} or {{L|Category|Abilities}}. If you wear {{L|Category|Armor}} above your {{L|Category|Classes|class'}} maximum worn {{AV}}, you lose all {{L|Category|Abilities}} of that {{L|Category|Classes|class}}.
{{AR|Softer Class Armor Restrictions}}

Additionally, some {{L|Category|Classes|classes}} restrict what other {{L|Category|Classes|classes}} you can train as. These restrictions only apply to and from {{L|Category|Classes|classes}} you gain ''{{L|Core|Leveling Up|from leveling up}}'' and not to {{L|Category|classes}} from, say, being a certain {{L|Category|Creatures|species}}.
