Dirtydark is a rare metal found only on the boundaries between areas where magic does and does not function. Items that are dirtydark deal dirtydark damage and have an uncanny resilience against magical effects. They can block magically powered abilities even if they are UB. If you are wearing dirtydark armor, then magically powered attacks made against you are not AV0. Dirtydark items are also resistant to all magical effects. However, dirtydark items can also be risky to use. If a creature is bearing a dirtydark item that gets shattered or destroyed, it is as though they had taken 8d20 dirtydark damage for the purpose of developing black rot.
