When an attack is deboosted, the largest damage die is removed from the damage roll. If there are multiple damage dice with different damage types, a random one is removed. However, if dice were added via boosting then it is a random one of the latest largest dice that is removed.

If an Attack that normally deals 2d4 + 1d8 damage gets deboosted, it deals 2d4 damage instead.

Alternate Rule: Instead of boosts and deboosts only applying to dice, it also applies to flat numbers such as the damage dealt by Slay. Treat the number N as Nd1 for the purpose determining when and how the numbers are modified.
