Having mastered the basic techniques in this field of magic, you are able to cast more advanced spells. If you create any Elder Sorcery spells of your own, they get added to this list. However, just because you "know" how to cast these spells, doesn't mean you are always prepared to. Although all mage classes grant their own Elder Sorcery and rotator spells, you may only have a maximum of MR - 1 of these spells rotated into your spell list at any given time across all classes. MR refers to the number of ranks you have in mage classes. During a long rest, you can "rotate" which spells you have prepared. The rotator spells automatically available to you are Crown of Ice, Dispel Magic, Distortion Field, Resist Effects, and Spell Trigger.
A small circle of glowing frost circles above your head. You gain Shock Touch and Blizzard Aura.
End condition: At the end of each of the target's actions, they roll 2d4. If either of these dice roll a 4, this effect ends. On critical hit: The target automatically fails the first 2d4 roll. On hit: Target is frozen. Heightened: For each additional MP spent, deal an additional 1d4 ice magic damage as well.
Target spell fizzles.
End condition: The start of your next turn. Heightened: For each additional MP spent, the range of Dispel Magic increases by 10 feet. If proficient: You may now use Dispel Magic P additional times as a free reaction before the start of your next turn. These additional uses do not in turn allow for additional uses. If fluent: You may now use Dispel Magic F additional times as a free reaction before the start of your next turn. These additional uses do not in turn allow for additional uses.
You gain Teleport and Displace.
Target creature is moved to a location you have studied within your level in miles. You can study locations by performing this ritual on an area you are in over the course of a long rest. This location must be a static part of the environment, not a moving location like a wagon or ship. If the location substantially changes beyond recognition, your ritual will fail to transport creatures there. You can only have 2 location studied at a time.
Heightened: For each additional MP spent, your maximum teleport distance increases by your level in miles. If proficient: You may now have 2 × P locations studied and can teleport a distance of up to P × your level in miles. If fluent: You may now have 2 × F locations studied and can teleport a distance of up to F × your level in miles.
You are instantly transported to a location you can see within range.
Heightened: For each additional MP spent, the range increases by 10 feet. If proficient: The range becomes 10 × P feet. If fluent: The range becomes 10 × F feet.
