When the game is on hold it is paused. Players cannot take any action in game unless directed to by the GM until the hold is lifted. A GM may call a hold at any time to describe something, resolve a player's issue, ponder for a moment, or for any other reason. At GM discretion, players may be allowed to call a hold as well as needed. The phrase "game on" is used when a hold is ended.
