In certain circumstances, displacement effects may have a toll on a creature. Creatures that have been displaced many times seem to start having difficulty recalling things, start losing their balance, and find their physical form start to decay. Reference the chart below.

Displace Counters Consequence
10+ Gain vertigo. Always feel somewhat dizzy.
20+ Gain Teleport and Displace.
30+ Displacement effects and memory drain are doubled on you (move for twice as long, take two memory drains, add two counters from this chart, etc.).
40+ Incapable of manifesting from Teleport.
50+ Incapable of speech.
60+ Permanently slowed. Displacement effects and memory drain are doubled on you again.
70+ Permanently immobilized.
80+ Permanently paralyzed.
90+ Become a mist haunt.
100+ See GM.
